Nashville based family friendly rock band, The Happy Racers, make unapologetically fun yet smart music for kids (and adult’s acting like kids). The trio has performed at Lincoln Center in New York City and has headlined family stages at numerous festivals such as Pilgrimage Music Festival, Live On The Green and CMA Music Festival.  The guys have also appeared on SiriusXM, NPR, FOX and ABC affiliates. “Doghouse Jamboree” appears in the feature film, “The Bandit Hound”, while  videos for “My New Kicks” and “Cookies & Milk” have been played nationwide in Journeys Kidz retail stores.  The group composed all the music for the touring stage production, “Lovabye Dragon”, as well as music for several children’s books and an ebook app narrated by Lisa Loeb. Since releasing their debut album, “Ready Set Go”,  they band has released two albums distributed by Capital Nashville / Universal,  “A Very Merry Christmas” & “A Scary Very Halloween” in addition to single song releases “Clean”, “The Dark” and “My New Kicks”.

About The Happy Racers

Our mothers think we're fabulous but here's what others have to say:

A gateway drug to better children’s music – NPR

An opening guitar lick borrowed from one of John Mayer’s palaces of seduction turns an endearing, no-more-monsters-at-bedtime tune into the most Triple A-commercial-radio ready kindie song to come along in ages...'Lovabye Dragon' is the kind of song that should be wearing out the satellite signal of Sirius/XM’s Kids Place Live and of Radio Disney (if they had a soul)

The Happy Racers brought an excellent show to Cheekwood’s Family Night Out program!  The audience loved them especially the kids who happily danced and sang along.  We would be thrilled to welcome the guys back for another show any time!”

Like an Americana Archies... The Happy Racers are the kind of fun both kids and parents can all groove out to and not grow out of                - DJ Shark, Indie1031.com, Los Angeles

The Happy Racers were a delightful addition to our line-up for the Celebrate Nashville Festival.  Their show was lively, upbeat and drew in a crowd of young people and their grown-ups, all of whom were clapping and singing along to their fun tunes.  The performance was top-notch, not your average band for kids, and the red trumpet was a big hit.  They really brightened things up on such a drizzly day!
